Upstairs, Bill’s Sydney, Hawaii

Bill Granger’s Honolulu venture, Bill’s Sydney Waikiki, is the perfect mix of Australian beachside chic combined with laid back Hawaiian style. Airy, spacious dining upstairs (and a great balcony area to catch the evening breeze) and a more casual beach bar cafe downstairs serving meals, snacks and drinks from breakfast throughout the day. It is perfectly located in the heart of Waikiki.

And the food? Well it’s great – fresh, modern dishes using local produce including many of Bill’s classics. Our favorites included fried green tomatoes, banoffee shakes, salt and pepper squid with yuzu mayo and spicy zucchini from the beach bar. The prawn and chill linguine, lychee martini’s and choc brownie hot fudge sundae (its huge – great to share!) were impressive choices form the menu upstairs.

We visiting three times on a latest trip and were rewarded with great service, great food, excellent prices and a gorgeous location every time.
