Sydney foodies get ready, have we got the brunch for you! Rocker is perfectly situated on the high hill of North Bondi village and has a full and direct view of stunning Bondi Beach with a big dose of sunshine to boot. With both indoor and outdoor tables, the vibe of Rocker is cool, professional and friendly.
We chose an indoor table, the décor was open and stylish, and the tunes were the exact what you want for a Saturday late morning fiesta. The staff are all over it, they explained the menu asked twice for any allergies and were quick to bring our delicious coffees to begin our Saturday brunch feast! Let’s talk about the Mimosas! Yum and zesty, the perfect accompanying beverage for our soiree, and as the name of the brunch suggests, they are indeed bottomless (for 2 hours).
Ok now the best bit, the food!! Oh yes, the food, I went hungry and skipped everything before getting there and my goodness I’m glad I did. To start, arriving on our table were the kind of starters you need to be careful not to ruin the rest of the meal for – so yummy, we had fresh oysters, a zesty salad with burrata and toasted bread with a roast onion butter… drool. I told you I had to be careful. We were only on starters!!
Next up was a main of roast chicken, cooked to perfection a roast pumpkin salad with so much flavour, it was delicious, crunchy double roast potatoes and a crispy fresh salad, and of course a bubbly Mimosa on the side.
After a little break and some fun bubbled up chit chat, we finished with an iconic Pavlova covered with fresh summer berries and deliciousness. Wrapping up the day was a cheeky little espresso martini, the perfect wrap to a perfect brunch. Don’t miss this one!
