Eat: Creating a Simple Country Brunch

There is something so relaxing about enjoying a simple brunch in the countryside on a beautiful sunny morning.

Freshly squeezed orange juice, free-range eggs  (preferably from a nearby farm!), toasted bagels and fresh berries with creamy yoghurt are the ideal combination to get the day off to a great start.

To create this setting we used an eclectic mix of crockery and cutlery in a palette of soft pastels and picked a simple bunch of flowering thyme leaves and French lavender to adorn the table. The country views and spring sunshine did the rest to make this the perfect brunch setting!

Simple toasted fresh bagels and farm fresh eggs are the perfect start to the day.

We love pretty pastel cutlery and an eclectic mix of crockery.

French lavender and flowering thyme from the garden add wonderful colour and scent.

Raspberries dusted with sugar, fresh yoghurt and homemade jam added a sweet touch.

We used repurposed scented candle jars for simple vases.
