Lovers of smoked salmon will appreciate this creamy, smoky dip which is easy to make, tastes delicious and is very versatile.
Ingredients
1 cup of cream cheese
1/2 cup of sour cream
Juice of half a lemon
1 tablespoon of chopped dill
1 tablespoon of chopped chives
2 slices of smoked salmon, roughly chopped
Salt & pepper to season
Add all ingredients to a food processor and mix until a paste forms. Remove from processor, chill and serve. This salmon dip can be eaten as a traditional dip or spread on rye (or toasted bagels) topped with smoked salmon slices and fresh dill. ELE tip – if you add extra lemon juice and process until very smooth it will make a delicious, easy sauce to toss through fresh pasta. Enjoy!
A very good post. Thanks for sharing!
Yummy! This looks super delicious. Great post! 🙂
Wow! The recipe sounds (and looks) delicious. Thanks!
Great recipe 🙂
This sounds wonderful! On our salmon salads we use a mustard and dill dressing, which is a mix of wholegrain mustard, vinegar, olive oil and dill. It gives it a real zingy flavour. It would be great to contrast with this recipe for a smooth, smoky flavour. Thank you for sharing!
