Eat: Spaghetti al Gambero

We hope that all of our friends and followers are having a wonderful Easter break. After indulging in so much chocolate we thought it was time for a savoury recipe that is so quick and simple to prepare and tastes delicious. This spaghetti is one of our go-to favourites. Simply fry three cloves of garlic, 1 chopped fresh red chilli and a handful of fresh prawns in half a cup of olive oil until the prawns are cooked through. Remove from heat. Add 2 cups of cooked spaghetti to the pan, squeeze in the juice of half a lemon, add a handful of chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper. Put back on the heat for a minute or two and lightly toss through to combine. Serve with extra lemon and finely grated Parmesan (for those of you who are happy to go against the trend and add cheese to a seafood spaghetti!). Enjoy!

  4. Yum that looks fantastic!!! I’m not a huge pasta fan, but really love it when paired with shrimp! And I’m definitely on-board with seafood and cheese (lobster mac and cheese, hello! lol)

  6. I use to make “shrimp spaghetti for my oldest daughter when she was little little…. ” This recipe looks so much better than what I made.. plus I haven’t made this for ever… I will definitely be trying this in the coming week… thanks for posting this

    • I hope you enjoy the recipe! Your daughter must have very fond memories of you making spaghetti for her when she was young.
