Regular followers of the E.L.E Instagram account will know we have recently returned from a winter escape to Canada. One of the highlights of this journey was hiking on the snow shoe trails in Lost Lake Park near Whistler. This beautiful area is perfect to spend a day when you feel like a rest from the slopes or just prefer a more quiet, peaceful escape. There are 25 kilometres of trails to explore that wind around the lake, showcasing the natural scenery. Snow shoes or cross country skis can be hired from the little hut near the entrance to the park which also houses a cafe for a warming hot chocolate on your return.
