Is there anything better than the end of Spring when everything is in bloom, peony season is in full swing and the first of the summer roses have started to make an appearance. We love to fill our home with vases of blooms picked fresh from the garden. This year our David Austin roses have started the season with a bang and are producing so many flowers we have a constant supply of these beautiful roses.

Beautiful flowers! I love the fullness of peonies, they are so beautiful when they’re in bloom..I just wish the blooms lasted a little longer so you could enjoy them more.
Peonies are by far my favourite flowers, their large heads and petals and often intoxicating fragrance can give any rose (by any other name 🙂 ) a run for their botanical money! I have several varieties in my perennial gardens and I so long for spring each year. Thanks for sharing your lovely photos.
