Tuscan Winery Monterosola, Launches New Online Enoteca

One of Tuscany’s most inspiring wineries Monterosola is launching its own online Enoteca later this month.

Located in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, Monterosola’s award winning wine estate has been producing exceptional organic wines for several years. With the launch of a new online store the estate’s wines will now be available internationally.

Monterosola’s exclusive online Enoteca will feature the winery’s exceptional red and white wines as well as the estate’s own grappa and olive oil. The new online store allows Monterosola’s loyal customers the opportunity to purchase its organic wines and products at the click of a button.

Monterosola officially opened its doors to visitors in 2019 and swiftly became one of Tuscany’s most popular destination wineries. However, when the Covid-19 lockdown period in Italy started in early March the winery could no longer welcome its guests in person. During this difficult period, demand for Monterosola’s wines continued to grow.

During the lockdown months, requests for Monterosola’s wines increased steadily and orders for international wine shipments grew impressively, with the Tuscan team working hard to fulfil shipments from wine enthusiasts worldwide.

Sales and Marketing Manager Daniel Ericsson explains:

Monterosola is unique, in the fact it was designed architecturally as a destination winery. The aim being for guests to enjoy a unique VIP wine tasting experience, here in Tuscany. However, the lockdown in Italy was severe, and we knew we needed to diversify quickly. Monterosola swiftly launched a series of online tasting videos, wine pairing notes, and a collection of Tuscan recipes. In addition, we started sending our wines to journalists and wine experts for them to sample at home. This activity resulted in some good online reviews and we swiftly started to get orders from around the globe. The new, easy-to-use online Enoteca will open our doors to a truly international audience and allow our wines to be enjoyed by all”.

The online Enoteca from Monterosola will allow wine lovers to sample a taste of Tuscany in the comfort of their own home.

Following an unprecedented time of concern in Italy, thankfully, Monterosola’s wine estate is once again welcoming guests to its beautiful hilltop cantina near Volterra and bookings for wine-tastings are higher than ever. The nearby medieval city of Volterra itself has enjoyed a dramatic increase in visitors recently and subsequently Monterosola’s wine tasting experiences are once again hugely in demand.
