Gone are the days when surgical facelifts were the only option for achieving or maintaining a youthful appearance. With advancements in aesthetic technology, a new wave of non-invasive treatments has emerged, led by groundbreaking procedures like the Ultraformer III. This innovative treatment harnesses the power of high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) to deliver targeted energy deep into the skin, resulting in a lifting, tightening, and strengthening effect. Unlike traditional facelifts that require incisions, anesthesia, and significant downtime, non-invasive treatments like Ultraformer III offer a safer and more convenient alternative. With minimal discomfort and downtime, we can now achieve remarkable facial rejuvenation without going under the knife.

We recently visited Cosmetic Avenue in Melbourne to experience this cutting-edge treatment, but the big question is, did it work? Let’s find out.

What is Ultraformer III?

Ultraformer III utilizes HIFU (high intensity focused ultrasound) technology to deliver targeted energy into the skin, resulting in a lifting, tightening, and strengthening effect. This non-invasive procedure reaches multiple layers of the skin, including the underlying muscles, for longer-lasting outcomes.

The Treatment Experience

Upon entering Cosmetic Avenue, we were greeted by a serene ambiance and a friendly team of professionals. Samantha, our therapist, instantly put us at ease with her expertise and warm demeanor. Before the treatment, she thoroughly explained the Ultraformer III process, ensuring we felt comfortable and informed the whole way through.

As the treatment began, Samantha used various cartridges to address different areas of our face and neck, allowing the ultrasound energy to penetrate deeply. It is a strange sensation, almost like a dull zap. The deeper cartridges could be felt more strongly and while the procedure wasn’t entirely painless, it was certainly bearable. Some sensitivity around the jaw area was felt, but overall, discomfort was minimal. Samantha constantly checked in to gauge our comfort level and we were able to take short breaks during the treatment.

The Results

The Ultraformer III treatment offers gradual and noticeable results over the course of several months. Depending on individual needs, it may require up to three sessions to achieve the desired outcome. However, the wait is worth it. We observed a visible improvement in the tightness and firmness of our lower face and neck skin immediately following the treatment which continued to improve over the next few weeks. Skin is tighter, more defined and

What stood out about the Ultraformer III treatment was the minimal downtime it required. After the session, we experienced only slight redness, which subsided within a few hours. This meant we could easily resume our normal activities immediately, making it a convenient option for those with busy schedules.

Who would benefit from this treatment?

The treatment is perfect for anyone seeking facelift results without going under the knife. Its ability to target deeper layers of the skin and stimulate collagen production provides long-lasting benefits. While the treatment does involve some sensitivity, particularly around the jaw, the discomfort is manageable. We would recommend it for anyone who has concerns about sagging skin on the lower face and neckline.

The Price

We know it isn’t cheap, but compared to a facelift this really is an excellent investment in your skin. Cosmetic Avenue offers two treatment options with the Ultraformer III: the Full Face Lift, which includes the lower face, submental area, and neck, priced at $1,787, and the Hollywood Lift, a slightly more superficial option that utilizes only one cartridge across the entire face, priced at an additional $987.
