Finding the perfect cut of denim for your figure can be one of life’s little challenges, from skinny, to mom, to dad fit to flare, there are so many denim options it can be overwhelming.
We have hunted high and low for the perfect fit of denim that will suit most body types and are perfectly comfortable dressed up or down.
Levi’s Wedgie Denim Jeans
For a while there you couldn’t trip over a celebrity, fashion editor or influencer who wasn’t rocking a pair of Levi’s Wedgie fit denim jeans.
Every element of these jeans is designed to flatter a tuck – the high waist, butt lifting style (hence the name – the Wedgie), and the perfect ankle skimming length which looks great with flats, trainers and heels.
They come in a range of colours and in straight or skinny styles and there is a curve ranger for fuller figured bodies.
The fit is tight, structured amd rigid (don’t expect a Lycra based skinny jean experience in these babies), you’ll need to work them in – much like your favourite pair of classic 501s.
Pair them with a blazer and flats or heels and a pretty cropped top or knit. They will take you from day to night in a cinch, but it’s going to be looking at your butt that gives you a little pep that only a great pair of denim can.

Rolla’s Original Straight Denim Jeans
You may have spotted Elsa Pataky flaunting her boho Byron style in Rolla’s cord flares or Bella Hadid being papped in her Rolla’s but it is the Rolla’s Original Straight jeans that should be on your must-buy denim list.
The fit is a modern mom jean – a perfectly executed waist and butt with just the right straight cut and ankle length to form and flatter.
Classic Rolla’s stitching and pockets will give you the butt of your dreams and with a range of colours available they will be your go-to all year around.
Size up on these gems, as the more fitted rigid denim will take a bit of breaking in. They soften over time but in our experience a size up fits perfect every time.

Love this style? Rolla’s also does a cord in the same cut.
