Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream Review

How much would you spend on a moisturiser? What if it promised to reduce wrinkles and pore size, was backed by science and was one of the most talked about cult beauty buys of the last few years?

If you are anything like us we have a healthy dose of scepticism about over hyped beauty products, especially those with a celebrity following. Brands and products can become popular purely by endorsement and association so before you spend your hard earned cash we like to provide you with our honest review.

Augustinus Bader’s The Rich Cream is one of these products, but unlike many beauty brands it is backed by solid science and was developed by a professor who is possibly the most unlikely beauty brand founder in the business. Professor Bader created the formula after seeking solutions to assist burn victims to heal more quickly.

We find out if it lives up to the hype.

What We Say

Augustinus Bader recommends using the product for 27 days (the length of time it takes for cell turnover), to truly see the effects of this product. With this in mind we waited a full month before writing this review.

Our tester’s skin type is slightly mature, tending on the dryer side, a perfect candidate for The Rich Cream.

The packing is luxurious, the blue bottle with copper gold accents feels weighty and expensive, exactly what you would expect from a higher end brand.

The real test of course was the results. Our tester stopped using all other products except for cleanser, Vitamin A and sunscreen and used this cream morning and night.

Initially, while the cream felt luxurious and hydrating we didn’t see immediate results any more that we would from any good quality moisturiser. However, over the course of the next few weeks the results became quite remarkable. Pores didn’t disappear however they did minimise, skin clarity and glow became more pronounced and the over look, feel and silkiness of the skin was enhanced.

Our tester reported fine line minimisation and a reduction in skin imperfections and spots.

The Final Verdict

It really is worth every cent and while you can get similar effects from more reasonably priced skin moisturisers, over time, your skin will thank you for spending the extra cash and treating it to this truly transformational skin cream.
