Searching for a best dressed look at Coachella can be a little bit like finding a needle in a haystack, Coachella fashion has such a specific look, that not only feels a little contrived but is also a style that many of us can’t pull off. But the trash glam squad brought the goods this year and there were a couple of standouts that managed to combine both class and Coachella style (not an easy feat!).
Away from Coachella, the star cast of Euphoria brought the goods on the red carpet and J.Lo looked half her age in a pretty floral Zimmerman dress on Easter Sunday. Plus the Queen! Who knew she would end up on our fashion looks of the week list but her accessories (two majestic fell ponies), catapulted her to the top of our favourite looks this week.
1. Leonie Hanne – Coachella
Leonie always brings the sparkle to our Instagram feeds and her Coachella looks were no exception. She somehow managed to bring a little glam to Coachella while still very much nailing the world famous music festival style.
We are all about this look, classic black and comfort thrown together in a look that will let you party in the dessert all night and well into the morning hours, Coachella fashion at its most practical.
3. Barbie Ferreira in Proenza Schouler – HBO Max FYC Event
We are sensing a black theme this week and Barbie’s black Proenza look hugged her in all the right places plus her 90s style boots gave us a big pang of fashion nostalgia.
We love Jennifer Lopez’s pretty Zimmerman frock, detailed with bold florals on the hem and sleeves. Accessorised with her green diamond engagement ring and a slicked back hair style, this 50-something looked every bit the young girl in romantic love.
If we are looking as gracious and impressive at 96 as her Her Majesty we will be very happy campers. The Queen of England makes our list this week not only for her impressive ponies but for her olive green wool coat that would not be out of place on the catwalks of Milan or Paris. Her white hair matches her ponies and the blossoming magnolia trees in the background provide the perfect backdrop. The Queen totally slayed Instagram this week and (in her late 90s) trumped any wannabe Coachella influencer.
