Is RhinoGear Any Good? 2026 Full Review

If you want to be able to breathe and sleep better, then there’s a whole market out there offering nasal strips and various other breathing aids. Today we’re going to be looking at one company in that industry: RhinoGear. This brand has built a name for itself by offering Australians easier sleeping and quieter breathing, but is the company any good and is it something you should use?

Ultimately, you are the arbiter of that. We have tested RhinoGear’s products, and we are now going to provide our report on them. We want to know whether these nasal strips actually work and whether there is a difference between nasal strips and nose strips. The answer is no, they are the same product.

RhinoGear also offers some other things that we feel are kinda edgy, like mouth tape for people who are mouth breathers at night. It’s an interesting area, and something that we want to explore more, so without further ado, let’s take a look.

Who is RhinoGear for?

RhinoGear is essentially for people with breathing difficulties or mouth-breathing issues. The company’s nasal strips are designed to support nasal breathing and come with a skin-safe adhesive. They can stay on through sweat, so they’re useful for anyone who exercises regularly.

Mouth tape is also helpful for anybody who wants to sleep more quietly at night and wants to provide their partner with snoring relief. It can also be a good way to change the way you breathe unconsciously if you want to breathe normally through your nose and diaphragmatically.

What we liked about RhinoGear

To be honest, there was quite a lot that we liked about RhinoGear’s products. As Australia’s number one TGA-listed premium nasal strips and mouth tape brand, we had high expectations, and we weren’t disappointed.

Dual spring design

One of the first things you’ll notice about wearing RhinoGear’s nasal strips is the dual-spring design. This delivers superior nasal opening for deeper sleep, reduced snoring, and better breathing overall, whether at the office or enjoying intense exercise. It’s a drug-free, hypoallergenic option that’s been trusted by Australians for all-night comfort and performance for many years now.

TGA listed and medically regulated

Another nice thing about RhinoGear’s products that we enjoyed was the fact that they are fully TGA listed and medically regulated, which is completely different from most generic health and sleep brands. You’ll also find the company’s products on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG 508285). Again, this gave us a lot of confidence and credibility in what the company says about its solutions. It’s not just marketing hype; it’s actual proven effectiveness.

Versatile use cases

There is also an element of versatility about RhinoGear’s nose strips and mouth tape. Most companies focus on sleep aids (such as snoring relief) or athletic training accessories for high-intensity sports, but RhinoGear is able to do both. That means you have one trusted brand you can go to for all of the products you need to improve nasal breathing. This means the company is equally at home providing solutions for your trail running hobby or your snoring habits. You can order products from the same website, which is something we really appreciated.

Strong local logistics and support

Of course, getting hold of specialist items like nasal strips and mouth tape can be challenging. If you just go to small boutique brands, it can often take weeks for products to arrive, which is annoying when you have an issue that you want to deal with immediately.

The great thing about RhinoGear is that it has highly developed local logistics and support. It can provide quick turnarounds on orders, and you can have your products with you within one business day in some areas, including Queensland. There’s also real customer service, so if you have a problem with your products, you can call somebody. They’ll guide you through a possible set of solutions and can manage returns for you. There’s free shipping on orders over $50, so you don’t have to worry about additional fees for most orders.

Skin-friendly formulation

The final thing we really liked during our testing was that RhinoGear’s products come with a skin-friendly formulation. This meant that we could wear them for hours without having to worry about irritation. According to the company’s website, all of its products are latex-free, drug-free, and hypoallergenic. They use medical-grade acrylic adhesive that has been shown to be safe for skin even when in contact with it for more than 12 hours.

Minor Cons

Of course, even though there are a lot of good things that we liked about RhinoGear, there were still some minor cons that we need to highlight for fairness. These products aren’t for everyone, obviously, and can’t and won’t always be the right choice for you.

For example, individual packs of nasal strips and mouth tape on the website often cost around $24.99. That means that if you purchase a two-pack, you’re still falling short of the threshold for free shipping. Of course, if you’re planning on using nasal strips long-term, you can bulk order, and this isn’t a problem. It could be annoying if you’re just trying to test out the brand.

There’s also a bit of a learning curve involved with using RhinoGear’s nasal strips. Sweat and facial oils can sometimes prevent adhesion, so you must follow the instructions carefully.

Make sure that the skin is always clean and dry, and that you press the nasal strip onto it for 20 seconds. When removing it, you’ll need to use warm water. This helps you avoid skin irritation and pain.

Final verdict: Is RhinoGear any good?

Despite these minor cons, our overall experience of RhinoGear was exceptional. We’re not surprised that it’s the number one TGA-listed brand out there. Because of this, we’re giving it a 5 out of 5-star rating. We think it’s a great option, primarily because of the dual spring design. This felt extremely comfortable when combined with the sophisticated and hypoallergenic adhesives. We didn’t have any problem with slipping or the nasal strip falling off during training or sleep.
