My Weekend with Niccii Kugler, Founder of NASH + BANKS

Niccii Kugler is the founder of NASH + BANKS, a platform that helps people to discover the best quality ethical and sustainable products and brands available today.

After the birth of her second child, Niccii found her awareness of the increasing cost of overconsumption became really heightened. Frustrated by a sense of helplessness, she started searching for brands that offered alternatives and discovered an inspiring community of change-makers, innovators and artisans all dedicated to rewriting our future.

When Niccii couldn’t find one lifestyle platform that offered her what she was looking for, she decided to build it herself. Nash + Banks officially launched in 2018, providing conscious consumers with an easy way to discover and shop for brands and products that are committed to having a positive impact on people and the planet.

We catch up with Niccii and find out how this busy Sydney-based entrepreneur spends her weekend.

Niccii’s Kugler’s Weekend

Friday Night

Fridays are homemade pizza and movie night with my boys. My husband makes a mean dough, or we cheat and grab some from Riccardo’s in Narrabeen. The boys often pick the movie so it’s lucky that I love a good action adventure or superhero flick!

Saturday

Most Saturdays you can find me in the Nash + Banks store in Avalon Beach. I try to sneak in a swim at the beach either before or after work and grab a coffee from one of the great coffee shops in town on my way in. The Sneaky Grind has an epic vegetarian breakfast wrap called the Californian which really hits the spot!

Saturday Night

Most often found dining at a friend’s place, or in the village at Bar Elvina or Alma. Timo (Niccii’s husband) is a really great cook, so we also love entertaining at ours – when the house isn’t in a constant state of renovation!

Sunday

I love to walk through the Angophora Reserve before it gets too hot followed by a day spent with friends and family. We are so lucky to be surrounded by a natural playground here on the Northern Beaches with a huge choice of bush walks, beaches and swimming spots to enjoy.

Sunday Night

If the weather is great, we grab poké bowls from Ocean Traders and head to Clareville to enjoy a swim and sunset dinner on the beach.
