Apple Ginger Smoothie Recipe

If you love apples and warming spices this is the perfect smoothie recipe for you! The ginger and pumpkin spice add a delicious, warm flavour which is delicious combined with the sweet apples and tang from the lemon. This is a great smoothie recipe for autumn and winter or serve it over ice in the warmer months.

Apple Ginger Smoothie by Vitamix

Ingredients

1 cup (240 ml) apple juice

1 apple, halved, seeded

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tablespoon fresh ginger root

¼ teaspoon pumpkin spice

Method

  • Place all ingredients into a Vitamix container (or other blender) in the order listed and secure the lid.
  • Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed.
  • Blend for 2 minutes until smooth.

Chef’s Notes

This smoothie is nice and warming, with just enough spice to help you during the cooler weather.
