As our northern hemisphere friends head into autumn, our Instagram has been awash with pumpkin patches, Halloween inspiration and all things autumn! But it is not just about the pumpkins these days, pumpkin patches are packed with adventures and are great for a day out with family and friends.
Here are five of our favourite Pumpkin Patches in the US to visit this fall.
1. Granny Mae’s, Dorrance, Kansas

Granny Mae’s recreates the magic of fall harvest with their pumpkin patch farm. There are six themed patches to explore including Munchkin Land and the Full Moon Farm.
There are treasure hunts, train rides, cider tasting, live music, s’more toasting and so much more. Make sure you spot the Granny Mae’s scarecrows which pop up all over the farm enjoying farm life!
Everything at Granny Mae’s is planted by hand and without relying on herbicides which is a win for both our health and the environment.

2. Skinny Bones Pumpkin Patch, Blair, Nebraska
Jeff and Maria Bledsoe have created good old fashioned fun in their Pumpkin Patch in Nebraska. With a corn maze, petting zoo, hayrack rides and corn pool, Skinny Bones is the perfect pick for a family day out.

3. Jumbo’s Pumpkin Patch, Middletown, Maryland
There are plenty of activities on offer at Jumbo’s Pumpkin Patch, a 131 acre farm in the picturesque Middletown Valley. From petting zoos to a 15 acre corn maze handmade crafts and food treats, Jumbo’s is another great pumpkin patch to visit this fall.

4. Tim’s Pumpkin Patch Marietta, New York
A great pumpkin patch that both kids and grown ups will love, at Tim’s you can enjoy wine slushies, cocktails house made hard cider and local brews. Visit on a Friday night and enjoy a bonfire, great food and hay rides.

5. Dave’s Pumpkin Patch at Vierra Farms, Sacramento, California
