Adairs has launched their second collaboration with designer Mark Tuckey following a successful collection last year. The new range includes signature furniture and homewares pieces, that will be available at Adairs from mid-July.
The collection features classic wood, navy and earthy tones and will allow Adairs customers to adorn their homes with the iconic Mark Tuckey style, and mix and match items from the collection.

Designer Mark Tuckey explains “I am incredibly excited to be launching a second collection following the positive reception to our first launch. I never set out to have a luxury brand, it just went that way because I wanted to make quality product, it’s always been a dream that one day we could diversify and make it available to more people.
“I had an appetite to make the brand more accessible and Adairs aligned with my brand values. I am experienced at, and love, creating things and they are great at retailing – what a good match”.

The Mark Tuckey signature style is the result of Mark’s passion to do something he could get up each day and engage in because he liked doing it, not because it made money.
“I really wanted to be engaged in a creative process, thinking things up, making them with my hands and seeing them go to appreciative homes. Above all, I wanted to ensure what I was doing was environmentally friendly. Recycled timber furniture ticked all the boxes. Growing up on the northern beaches meant I was indoctrinated that to be a worthwhile person you were doing something that was kind to nature, and ultimately to the environment” said Mark.

The second iteration of the collaboration includes a range of classic wooden furniture items including slatted bedside tables, bedhead and sideboards, as well as homewares and soft furnishings including hemp linens and cushions using organic cotton chambray.
The collection has a focus on sustainability. Hemp is one of the most environmentally friendly plants available, with natural insulating & wicking properties, hemp will keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. Grown without pesticides, it requires little water and prevents soil erosion with its strong network of roots.
Woven with a dyed yarn, chambray is a soft durable fabric with a wonderful texture & stylish appearance, renowned for comfort, lightness and breathability.
