ELE Health & Beauty: Six Beautiful Fragrances to Try Now

Whether it uplifts your mood, brings back old memories or gives you an extra confidence boost there is no denying the allure of a beautiful perfume and while fragrance is a matter of personal taste, there are some perfumes that seem to be universally admired. Here are six that we are loving right now.

1. Chanel Coco Noir

The perfect evening perfume, Chanel Noir is deliciously sophisticated and seductive. Rich, heady scents of bergamot, rose and and narcissus make it both alluring and mysterious. We also love the simplicity of the black bottle – our favourite in the Chanel perfume collection.

2. Acqua di Parma Rosa Nobile

On a recent trip to Milan we had the pleasure of visiting the newly refurbished Acqua di Parma store. This stunning space was the perfect place to test the beautiful Rosa Nobile fragrance. The scent is an elegant ode to the stunning Centifolia rose and to us a perfect daytime scent – delicate, floral and refined.

3. Louis Vuitton Le Jour Se Leve

Would you believe we purchased this perfume by accident? On a recent visit to our local LV store, with plans to purchase the Rose de Vents fragrance, we were served by a very charming Frenchman, however somewhere along the way our communication became crossed and we ended up walking out with Le Jour Se Leve instead. It was an expensive mistake to make however it turns out to be one the best purchases we have made recently. The scent is so sophisticated, and the bottle is also beautiful. A total splurge buy that is worth every penny.

4. Gucci Bloom

A new kid on the block that was launched just a couple of years ago, Gucci Bloom has become an instant classic. Long wearing, bursting with white floral notes of jasmine, tuberose and Rangoon creeper it’s reminiscent of being in a stunning garden that is in full bloom.

5. Diptyque Do Son

One of our all-time ELE favourites, this is one of those scents that gets noticed every time you wear it. Feminine and refined notes of rose, iris, African orange flower and musk it is a classic for every collection. It also comes in a handy roller ball design and as a solid perfume, perfect for when you are on the go and need a touch up during the day.

6. Estée Lauder Spellbound

An old school fragrance that is not for the feint hearted, it is a rich floral orientale fragrance that was launched in 1991 and has been a classic ever since. Where this when you want to make an impression.
