We love how simple this recipe is, it is a perfect and delicious way to start the day! We love the combo of strawberry and banana but you can also get creative with the fruit and use what you have available. Enjoy this delicious start to the day!
1/4 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 banana, frozen
1 tbs greek yoghurt
1/4 cup cottage cheese
1 tbs vanilla protein powder
1 tbs lemon juice
1-2 tbs almond milk, to blend
Add all ingredients to a high powered blender for 2-3 minutes, starting a medium speed then moving to high until thick, creamy and smooth.
Pour into a bowl and top with your fav toppings!
The key to a super thick smoothie bowl is using a really high powdered blender (Miranda uses a Vitamix Ascent a3500i) and as little liquid as possible.
