When the opportunity came up to review Chanel’s Soleil Tan de Chanel we jumped at the chance. We have long been fans of Chanel’s beauty range and while their products look oh-so-classy on our bathroom shelves, they still have to work hard to earn a regular spot.
A unique, lightweight and easy-to-blend cream-gel bronzer with a delicate, velvety finish that gives a natural sun-kissed glow.
The generously-sized jar makes it easy to swirl the kabuki brush, for effortless application.

Yet again Chanel has delivered a product that we love! The packaging is classic Chanel, high quality, and perfectly polished. The size of the bronzer exceeded our expectations, it is great value for money, and as you only need a little of this product to make an impact, it will last forever. The bronzer has a creamy, velvety texture, that brushes on easily with a kabuki or contour brush. We like to use it to highlight and contour – a little blended on the top of our forehead, down through the bridge of the nose and on to the hollows of the cheeks before applying a light powder dusting – it gives a great healthy glow which, with a little mascara and gloss, is a perfect daytime look.
The colour is universal enough for most skin tones and can be built up for a deeper bronze shade. We also love to use it on our shoulders and décolletage for an extra sun-kissed look.
