Last week the fashion set descended on Sydney for five days for Australian Fashion Week and the fashion didn’t disappoint. From Aje to Maara Collective, here are some of our favourites looks both on and off the runway.
Torannce made its debut at fashion week with a palette of pink, print and caramel, but it was this pink print tiered skirt that we have our eye on (and it has us dreaming of spring already!).
This liquid silver number caught our attention for all the right reasons, New York label Auteur made a slash at fashion week with a refined palette and dreamy, shimmery looks we can’t get enough of.
Australian actress Olympia Valance was front and centre at fashion week sporting a number of looks we loved over five days. However it was this look that really caught our attention – classic black and white with a pop of red and a whole lot of style.
This silky dress from Rumer, showing at their second Australian fashion week, is the look we want to take us from early evening to wild night, all year around.
Aje, never disappoints and this year was no exception – fun frivolity, colour and volume, everything that went down the runway gave us good vibes and happy feelings.
6. Nadia Bartel, Aje Runway Show
Nadia’s first Australian fashion week showing for her label Henne was, by all accounts, a success but ahead of the Henne showing she was at the Aje runway show, rocking mint calf length boots that are throwing us right back to the early 2000s, sans skinny denim.
We are long time fans of Maara Collective’s dreamy fabrics and silhouettes, their Aus Fashion Week runway didn’t disappoint bringing us a connection with the earth and a palette that conjures up the beauty of Australia.
