5-7PM
Get home, unwind … pour a B&T (Bombay Sapphire & Tonic), spend some time with my boys (Keegan and my little cat Lloyd haha), and generally have dinner well and truly cooked and devoured by the time 7pm rolls around! We are big ones for summer BBQ’s so most nights in the warmer months dinner consists of meat on the BBQ and beautiful fresh summer salads!
7-9PM
During the summer months, I love nothing more than making the most of the daylight savings time and heading to the beach with friends for a lovely sunset swim.
9-11pm
In all honesty, I’m not much of a night owl and love jumping into bed around 9:30pm most evenings!
Are you a night owl or a morning lark?
I’m DEFINITELY a morning person … my days are generally chocker block so I like to get up, move early and then I’m absolutely spent by the time 6pm rolls around … and in bed by 9:30pm! Bliss.
What is the one thing that you do that always guarantees a good night’s sleep?
I like to have a warm drink about 30-45 mins before I go to sleep, and definitely limit screen time after 7pm (sorry that’s two things haha).
Do you use any technology to track your sleep patterns?
No I don’t at the moment but it’s something I think I’m going to do more of in 2025. I am traditionally a really good sleeper, so haven’t had any issues on that front.
Does your wind down routine change between weeknights and the weekend?
Yessssss absolutely!! Because my weekends are the biggest days of the week, or “Game Day” as I often refer to it haha. I try and have my version of a weekend on Monday and Tuesday, so really like to relax and unwind on those days, before gearing up for another but week of work and footy. I’ll often try and catch up with friends on a Monday or Tuesday, and most likely we’ll have a G&T (Bombay Sapphire Gin is my go to!) as the sun sets – it is the perfect accompaniment to reconnecting after a busy week.
