Kim Ravaillion’s netball career started at Fairfield City Districts Netball Association. She swiftly progressed through the NSW Representative pathway landing a spot on the international stage, representing Australia at the World Youth Cup in 2013. That year marked the debut of a rising star in the Australian Diamonds line-up.
Kim’s trophy cabinet boasts back-to-back championships with the Queensland Firebirds, Commonwealth Games gold in 2014, and a Netball World Cup triumph in 2015. She is currently leading the way as captain and center for the Queensland Firebirds.
In addition to being a new athlete ambassador for female brand Athena Sports Nutrition she also is the co-founder of Ravs Fitness, an online fitness app. We catch up with the busy athlete, business owner and mum of one (to daughter Georgie) and partner of fellow athlete and AFL player, Adam Treloar, and find out how she spends her weekends.
Friday PM
I pick Georgie up from day care. We head home for an afternoon snack usually consists of some cut up cucumbers, capsicum, tuna, crackers and an Athena protein bar for me. Followed by a really cruisy afternoon watching Georgie’s Dad (Adam Treloar who plays for the Western Bulldogs and is based in Melbourne) play AFL. I pop my recovery boots on and relax for a bit just before bath, dinner and bedtime, in preparation for my big game the next day.

Saturday AM
We wake up and head downstairs for some morning coffee and game day brekky. I like to chill before it’s time to leave so I usually sit outside and watch Georgie play in her cubby house. I’ll then get Georgie dressed and get ready for my game. It’s the weekend so I’ll give her a little sweet treat, usually a pink donut which is her favourite. I’ll then have a quick nap before heading off to my game.
Saturday PM
Hopefully after a winning game, I’ll have a protein shake (ATHENA Protein + Iron in chocolate flavour is my go-to) to repair my muscles. We will debrief the game, do some recovery and I’ll then head home to hear whether Georgie was a good girl at the game or not! Depending on what time the game finishes I will grab some takeaway from Guzman y Gomez and head to bed straight away as I’m super tired!
Sunday AM
Sunday mornings are for pancakes. I whip up Georgie’s favourite banana mix topped with LSA, strawberries, blueberries maple syrup and some ricotta cheese which is so delicious! After brekky that we head to the park so I can check out from my netball head space and enjoy some quality time with my girl.

Sunday PM
In the afternoon, the wind down continues. We’ll have dinner together, call Adam to have a catch up and watch a fun family movie. Georgie’s favourite is Paw Patrol and mine is Blue Crush. Another early bedtime as the week restarts and I’m back into netball training!
