Famed French beauty house Sisley has launched their new body contouring cream, Le Sculpteur designed to firm and tone the skin.
Back by science and seven years of extensive research, Le Sculpteur is the the first body product designed to limit the appearance of new adipocytes (a science-y word for fat cells!) and anticipate the formation of new areas of fat in order to refine the silhouette.

Sisley embarked on a research partnership with a team specialising in adipose tissue led by Professor Christophe Magnan from the University of Paris. This partnership led to the identification of a new course of sculpting action before fat is stored.
What does this all mean? Basically that the product is designed to address skin dimpling before it occurs and increase toning and firming.
During the day the unique combination of Pink Berry oil, Caffeine, Cedrol and White Ginger extract, help thighs look more defined and firmer, as if toned.
At night, the combination of Mandarin extract, Andiroba oil and Exopolysaccharide from Plankton, works to minimize the appearance of cellulite. Skin appears smoother as the “orange-peel skin” diminishes.
We are always a little skeptical about a product that claims to improve firming and toning however, what we love about this product is that it is backed by extensive research. It is also fragranced with beautiful natural oils and the gel-like finish blends beautifully into skin without leaving a sticky residue.
At $290 this is not a cheap product but the results that you can expect make it worth the price.
