Anna Robards and Christie Whitehill’s Tips to Beat Fatigue

Anna Robards and Christie Whitehill, founders of INTU Wellness share their tips on how to re-energise and beat fatigue.

There is no doubt that we are all pulled in every direction these days. From always being contactable on multiple devices, to managing a busy social, work and maybe even parenting schedule, it is common for people to struggle with their energy levels from always being “on”.

However, learning the art of resetting and having some daily rituals to help you unwind at the end of a long day is key to helping you feel re-energised and shake away fatigue.

Make sure you get a good night’s sleep

Sleep is the number 1 ingredient to feeling re-energised, and as mums of young children, we know how precious every minute you can get is. We recently launched a new super powder called INTU WELLNESS Sleep & Skin Renewal which heroes the ingredients of magnesium, Lemon Balm and Passionflower to help you relax and get a more restful sleep.

Even if you are getting woken up all night by the kids, getting quality sleep where you can will make a huge difference. Magnesium is involved in hundreds of biochemical reactions in your body and it is one of the most important nutrients in our bodies. It is also a popular nutrient to take before bed to relax nerves and relieve tension.

Having a sleep routine is a good way to get your body ready for sleep. Turning off your phone and social media an hour before bed, dimming the lights or even wearing blue light glasses, meditating or listening to calming music, having a hot shower and taking INTU Sleep & Skin Renewal in the hour before you sleep are all good ways of preparing your body for a good night’s sleep.

Hydrate

Often when we feel tired the first thing we reach for is another cup of coffee, however in many cases you are tired because you are dehydrated and drinking more water will actually make you feel better, whereas more coffee may make you feel more flat.

The human body is comprised of 60% water and your brain is strongly influenced by your hydration status. According to research featured on Healthline, studies have shown that even mild dehydration can impair many aspects of brain function, mood, concentration and energy.

Get Active

When you are fatigued, perhaps the last thing you want to do is go to the gym, however getting out in the fresh air to even take a simple walk will help to boost the endorphins in your body and improve your mood and energy. It can be a struggle to start, but it is highly recommended. By burning some energy by doing even light exercise, you are more likely to encourage your body to have a good night’s sleep.

About Anna and Christie

Anna Robards and Christie Whitehill are the co-founders of INTU WELLNESS. INTU Sleep & Skin Renewal is the new super powder and the perfect nightcap to target those over-stimulated multi-taskers who want to wake up reenergised and with hydrated, youthful-looking skin.

A powerhouse that combines eight stellar ingredients co-staring the potent antioxidant astaxanthin that is 65 x stronger than vitamin C, Lemon Balm and Passionflower to reduce restlessness and promote deeper sleep, marine collagen to hydrate and regenerate the skin, plus magnesium to relax the nerves and relieve tension.

The product was inspired by Anna and Christie’s experiences of motherhood. After the birth of their children, the lack of sleep and dull-looking skin that came with motherhood, inspired the creation of a supplement that conveniently targeted both these areas.

Their point of difference – an all-in-one super powder: A sleep aid for your body and mind, and a beauty drink for your skin, this product is designed to help you wake up feeling re-energised, hydrated and youthful.
