Chargrill Charlie’s x Anna Polyviou Famous Lockdown Cookie Dough Is Back

Chargrill Charlie’s has once again joined forces with Australian pastry chef Anna Polyviou, to create a limited-edition lockdown cookie dough. The duo have created the cookie dough to put a smile on everyone’s face during Sydney’s latest stay at home order.

Known for her fun and rebellious cooking methods, Anna Polyviou has created a brand new mouth-watering flavour – biscoff bites, made with the famous Lotus Biscoff biscuit and Lotus Biscoff Spread. For the classic lovers the much loved original triple choc chip is also available.

Affectionately described as the Punk Princess of Pastry, Anna Polyviou has dazzled Australians with appearances on MasterChef Australia and Family Food Fight, and her two books, Sweet Street and Kids Corner.

Anna Polyviou said, “I am very excited to partner with Chargrill Charlie’s again on this inspiring initiative. I love seeing everyone in the kitchen, cooking and growing a passion for baking during these hard times, and cookie dough is the perfect way to do so! If you’re a family who has children on school holidays, live with flatmates, a partner or on your own – these cookie dough kits are guaranteed to have you melting from the inside. I want family and friends to have fun during this time, and baking is the perfect way to spend time together at home”.

Ryan Sher, co-owner of Chargrill Charlie’s said, “We were overwhelmed by the response of the cookie dough last year, having sold out in a matter of days. It was a no brainer to recreate this fun initiative. Anna is the epitome of the Chargrill Charlie’s brand; she has a brilliant energy, is fun and very talented. We couldn’t think of a better partner to create this cookie dough with and were very excited to be launching a new biscoff inspired flavour”.

“It’s a great opportunity to support our industry, and we’re so proud to be aligned with Anna, who has hired 15 people to help with the collaboration, ultimately supporting suppliers and staff in the hospitality industry during this tough time,” says Sher.

Chargrill Charlie’s has been serving delicious food to families for 32 years. Chargrill Charlie’s operates 17 stores across Sydney (Annandale, Beecroft, Bondi, Coogee, Dee Why, Drummoyne, Frenchs Forest, Lane Cove, Mona Vale, Mosman, Neutral Bay, Randwick, Rose Bay, St Ives, Wahroonga, Willoughby, Woollahra) and one store in Melbourne (Camberwell).

Priced at $15, the cookie dough is available now to purchase as a tub at all 18 Chargrill Charlie’s stores across Sydney and Melbourne via the Chargrill Charlie’s app, in-store or through select delivery partners.
