Paris is a beautiful city at any time of the day but there is something magical about wandering the pretty streets and boulevards as the sun is setting and the lights are coming on, illuminating shop fronts and the city’s iconic sites. Le Marais is one of our favourite areas to explore at dusk, the beautiful stores, bars and laneways are perfect for wandering, people watching and stopping for an early evening drink.

There are so many! We spent a full day walking all of the way up the right bank of the Seine and then over to the left bank and we saw so much. The Eiffel Tower, Jardin de Luxembourg, Le Marais (for shopping!), the Champs Élysées, Notre Dame. If you get a chance to take a day trip out of Paris head to Monet’s Garden or Versailles- both so beautiful and easy trips. Enjoy!
