Live: Summer Picnics, Australia

Summer is in full swing here in Australia and we have been taking advantage of the warmer weather to get out and explore the countryside. We recently picnicked atop of Mount Macedon in Victoria (approx. 1 hour from Melbourne) and were rewarded with plentiful views and good walking tracks. Combined with our favourite rustic summer baguettes stuffed with preserved tuna, vintage cheddar, whole egg mayonnaise, leafy greens and baked crisps, it was the perfect afternoon escape.

  1. It’s funny but as I read I was hearing it with an Australian accent usually when I encounter people from around the world with accents in my head it is North American English. Love the photo of the countryside…beautiful

    • Thank you! Definitely some strong Aussie accents in our team. I hope the photo reflects the beauty and harshness of the Australian countryside in summer
