The Grounds of Alexandria is a mini oasis in the heart of a former industrial precinct in the inner west of Sydney. Set in an acre of sustainable gardens it boasts an artisan bakery, coffee academy, animal petting farm (perfect for kids!), veggie patch, fruit and flower markets and beautiful cafes. We loved the homemade lemonade, organic strawberry tarts and came home with bunches of beautiful flowers in a kaleidescope of colours. The Potting Shed is a perfect place for a leisurely lunch amongst hundred of beautiful plants. It is a slice of the country life only a few minutes from the Sydney CBD. ELE tip- weekends get very busy, try a mid-week visit to beat the crowds.
Address: Building 7A, 2 Huntley Street, Alexandria NSW 2015
What a beautiful place!
I couldn’t figure out what ELE was. Then I noticed your screen name. Haha Nice pictures and container plants, esp. Gives me an idea for a big flowerpot my son brought home from somewhere.
What a great space!
Looks so stunning! I definitely want to go now. Amazing photos 🙂
Wow! What an amazing place. If I lived in the area, I would definitely drop in to have a look.
