Step One: Lip Prep

To achieve the perfect red lip it is imperative to take time to give your lips some TLC. Taking the time to prep your lips will ensure your lips stay smooth and perfect the whole day. Start with a lip scrub which will exfoliate and help promote blood flow, giving your lips a fuller plumper look. After this, add a lip balm. Remember, the longer you can let this sink into the lips the better!

Step two: Lip Liner

Lip liner will give you beautiful crisp, long lasting lip colour. If you have an unsteady hand have no fear… step four will be your life-saver! Sketch out your cupid’s bow first to make sure your application is symmetrical. From there, connect the corners of the mouth up to the cupids bow to create a fuller lip look. Follow up by lining the bottom lip as well. For extra longevity, fill in the entirety of your lips with the liner – when your lipstick wears off your lip liner will be there to back it up.

Step three: Lipstick

Now this is the satisfying part; filling it all in! For a more comfortable wear, stick with a cream finish lipstick. If you are after longevity, choose a matte-drying liquid lipstick.

Step four: Mistakes Begone!

This last step will make your lip line look as crisp and seamless as possible! Any uneven lip can be fixed with a little bit of concealer or foundation on a small, fine concealer brush,Run this right up against your lip line to hide any imperfections that might have happened along the way!
The final result will be a crisp, rich and perfect red lip.
