5-7PM
With a 14 month old, this is always a bit of a crazy time in our home with dinner, bath time etc. It’s all about preparing a healthy meal, getting our daughter sorted, play time and winding her down for bed.
7-9PM
By 7pm I’m usually pretty overstimulated after a big day, so once my little girl is down for the night then it’s time to reset the house, wind down for the evening and do some self-care. This usually includes a cuddle with the hubby, then I head to the bathroom to do my skincare routine, pop my red light lamp on in the bedroom, do some gentle stretches and then snuggle up with a cup of Sleepytime tea and a book in bed, or perhaps do some relaxing deep breathing or a meditation to calm my mind before lights out at about 8:30PM.
9-11PM
I’ve always been an early riser so being asleep by around 9pm has always been a priority for me.
Are you a night owl or a morning lark?
Definitely a morning lark! I love to get up early and listen to morning affirmations then do a workout before my little one wakes up.
What is the one thing that you do that always guarantees a good night’s sleep?
Personally, I find that breathwork before bed offers a great night sleep!
Do you use any technology to track your sleep patterns?
Love the Oura Ring!!
Does your wind-down routine change between weeknights and the weekend?
No, I love my wind down routine no matter what day of the week it is. I’m in my stay home with the family era!
