Who doesn’t love a Pina Colada?! And while drinking cocktails first thing in the morning probably isn’t a great idea (unless you are enjoying an island beach holiday of course!), you can create the same deliciousness of a Pina Colada with zero guilt and a whole lot of goodness at home with this smoothie recipe.
Bec Taylor from @fooddesignstudio has created this delicious smoothie that not only tastes delicious but is good for you. Enjoy!
PINA COLADA SMOOTHIE
Recipe & Images by Bec Taylor
Travelling may be restricted right now but you can still enjoy those summer holiday vibes at home with my ice cold Pina Colada smoothie featuring Califia Farms creamy almond milk.
With only four ingredients, this smoothie is so simple to make and will give you a great vitamin C boost from the fresh pineapple.
Ingredients (Serves 2)
2 cups fresh or frozen pineapple pieces/chunks
Juice of 2 limes
1 cup pure coconut cream (from a can)
1 1/2 cups Califia Farms Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
1. Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. You can add in a little extra almond milk if the mixture is too thick.
2. Serve with fresh pineapple and enjoy!
