3 Pilates Workouts To Do At Home

Having some great pilates workouts on hand when you are spending more time at home means that you won’t miss out on keeping fit and in shape, even when you can’t get to the studio.

We love a good reformer session, however these workouts only require a mat and your own body for resistance.

Here are three of our current favourites.

1. Move With Nicole

We stumbled across this channel recently by Australian based trainer, Nicole McPherson. We love the calming presence Nicole brings to her workouts, and her clear instructions.

The workouts move at a nice pace, so you are able to keep up easily. There are a variety of workouts for different time lengths – perfect for if you only have a quick 20 minutes to workout or if you have a longer amount of time. The best part of all? Nicole’s workouts are free on YouTube, meaning you can workout without forking out the extra dollars.

2. Peaches Pilates

The Sydney born Pilates studio has a range of fantastic workouts via their online workshops that compliment their great in-studios workouts.

We love the whole Peaches philosophy that focuses on holistic wellbeing and positive vibes that make you feel like getting up and working out.

3. Alo Yoga

Alo Yoga got us through Covid lockdowns in 2020, with their range of at-home workouts. While they have large variety of yoga workouts, they also incorporate HIIT and Pilates into some of their workouts.

Whether you want to strengthen, lengthen, energise or stretch, there is something for everyone on Ali’s YouTube channel. Their options aren’t limited to their free YouTube workouts, they also have a paid subscription model, Alo Moves, that provides yoga, fitness and meditation classes, with new classes each week.
