Hanging Rock Winery in the Macedon Ranges is located in Australia’s coldest wine growing region approximately one hour north of Melbourne. Perched on a hill overlooking the valley below, the winery is renowned for its Macedon NV Brut and Macedon NV Brut L.D, two of Australia’s best Sparkling Wines. Cellar door is open 7 days a week for sales and tasting and there are picnic tables with beautiful views to enjoy in the warmer months. There is plenty to do in the region, from exploring the numerous wineries, visiting the beautiful open gardens at Mount Macedon and climbing the famous Hanging Rock.
In my own backyard (figuratively speaking), but have not been here, must put on the to do list………when the weather dries up and warms up a little I want to go back to Hanging Rock, so I might stop in here too, can’t wait for the vineyards to get some leaves
Gorgeous photos!
The pictures of the trees are so beautiful and unique, like something has blown them upwards! The winery and everything is set in such a picteresque background with this amazing gravel road at the end…..makes me want to go there now! Your clicks mesmerised me!
Thank you so much! It’s really beautiful
Beautiful pictures, love the spring flowers. There is a winery not far from where I live. I’ve never been there, but maybe I should go.
