In Praise of Veg by Alice Zaslavsky
Why We Love It
When former Masterchef alumni, Alice Zaslavsky’s, cookbook In Praise of Veg landed on our desk we were immediately taken by the bright cover and colour coded pages packed full of delicious and healthy recipes.
You know those recipe books that look pretty on the shelf but you rarely use? Well this is not one of those, this cookbook is packed full of recipes you will want to make every day, with a focus on making vegetables the hero of each dish. While there are plenty of meat-free options, the cookbook isn’t vegetation, there are lots of options where meat is also included but at the heart of the recipe it is always vegetables.
Some of our favourites include the Carefree Cabbage Curry, the Torn Zucchini Flower Pizza and the BLT salad with Avo-li which we featured in our current issue of ele Magazine.
It is guaranteed to be a go-to bible on your cookbook shelf for years to come.
