The most Instagrammable village in the world is not one village but five, the dramatic and beautiful Cinque Terre. Located in Italy’s north, the Cinque Terre is a collection of five World Heritage listed villages, Monterosso, Riomaggiore, Vernazza, Corniglia and Manarola which are precariously perched on dramatic cliff tops overlooking the sea.
It is not difficult to see why they are so photogenic – pastel shades, azure blue seas and that certain rustic Italian charm that combines to make the villages so unique and special, they should be on everyone’s bucket list to visit at least once in a lifetime.
The other nine villages on the top ten list of most Instagrammable villages are also exquisite, from the colourful streets of Burano in Italy to the dramatic scenery of Hallstatt in Austria every one of these top ten villages is as pretty as a picture.
